How to Write Dick/Tim

Richard Grayson and Timothy Drake. They have a lot in common, but they are also very different and there are enough inconsistencies in canon to drive a writer crazy.

Tim Drake (Robin III) got his superhero start by basically being a stalker of Dick Grayson (Robin I)--he was there the night Dick's parents were killed and tracked him ever since, becoming one of the only people to deduce Batman and Robin's identities.  Dick/Tim is, of course, a natural result.  :)

People have sometimes been confused or surprised when I mention that Clark/Dick is my OTP. The explanation I usually get is that it wasn't a pairing they had thought of, even though they have had plenty of slashy interaction throughout Dick's history.
